The information sharing strategy chapter first investigates the information sharing critical point, first using the profits of suppliers who share information to subtract the profits of suppliers who do not share information, and then using a derivative approach, finds that the profits of suppliers under information sharing are always greater than under non-sharing. The critical point of information sharing for fresh produce e-commerce was then solved for, again using the method of derivation, to find the power point of information sharing for fresh produce e-commerce. Finally, the critical point for overall supply chain profit was analysed, and the results showed that overall supply chain profit is related to freshness elasticity.

Then it was found that when the freshness elasticity was low, the profits of both the fresh produce suppliers and the supply chain as a whole were weak, so the fresh produce suppliers had no incentive to share information. When the freshness elasticity is at a medium level, the profitability of the fresh produce merchant is weak but the profitability of the supply chain as a whole is high, and if the supplier provides some compensation, this can lead to cooperation to improve the overall profitability of the supply chain. When freshness elasticity is high, fresh produce merchants have high profits and will voluntarily share information.
